If your child has a bad cough, Croup, runny nose, fever, stomach ache, vomiting, diarrhea, body aches, sinus infection, pink eye, ear infection, or other flu or cold symptoms, he or she CAN NOT attend class. In cases where an antibiotic is prescribed, your child must have started the antibiotic 24-36 hours before returning to class (medication of any kind cannot be left in the cubby room). A good rule of thumb is that if your child was not able to attend school or is dismissed early due to illness he or she CAN NOT attend class. If we feel that a child is too ill, or shows signs of any of the above, we will dismiss him or her from class to a parent or other attending adult.
Please make sure your child is capable of thoroughly and frequently washing his or her hands with soap and warm water for at least 30 seconds. Parents please assist if needed. This should be done before, after, and during class as well as throughout the day. If the need arises due to reasons such as touching the mouth or nose area, sneezing, coughing, tissue use, etc. your child may be sent to the bathroom for hand washing.
Please inform your child to cough or sneeze into his or her elbow, use a tissue, keep hands away from facial areas, and keep from touching other children.
Please make sure any cuts, scrapes, skin conditions (ex: eczema), rashes, etc. are medically treated if needed and always covered when in the gym.
As always, we at Flip City Gymnastics will continue doing our part with regular bleach and water solutions, as well as other disinfecting cleaning methods. However we do need cooperation from parents and children to prevent nasty germs from spreading.
Cancellation Policy: There are absolutely no refunds given. Gift certificates have no cash value and cannot be refunded or credited once used.
During the summer class sessions there are no refunds, credits, or prorating of any kind available.
Medical Credits: Credits for missed classes will only be issued for documented medical reasons. Medical credits will be issued only if cancellation is due to a serious illness or injury, confirmed in writing and signed by your child's physician. Medical credits will be issued from the date of the note AND must be received in the office within 48 hours of the date on the note. Notes received after your child's last class of the session will not result in a credit. All funds would then be forfeited. Medical credits expire 6 months from the issue date, after which all funds would be forfeited. Please note in order to receive a credit your child's spot must be released. If you do not wish to release the spot a credit cannot be issued.
For general missed classes please view our "Make-Up Policy".
Please check the appropriate web pages and seasonal registration forms for details.
Make-ups are unlimited. However, make-ups must be scheduled in advance through the office and are to be completed during your child's enrollment period. Those not completed during the enrollment period will be forfeited. Make-ups cannot be carried into our summer programs; therefore students who continue through the last session are to have make-ups completed before the June deadline.
Make-ups due to inclement weather, blackouts, and holidays, etc. are the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian. Make-ups are offered on a space available only basis during other scheduled class times. There is no guaranteed space for make-ups.
There are no credits, refunds, or prorating on missed classes.
