Flip City Gymnastics

Boys (ages 6-10): This is a 1 hour per week class that is the introduction into our boys program. Lesson plans for this group involve learning the basics of all the boys' events--rings, pommel horse, high bar, floor exercise, vault, and parallel bars. Beginning skills on "Tumbl Trak" and trampolines will also be introduced. In addition to gymnastics, your child will also learn proper safety procedures and increase their listening skills during this class.


Advanced Boys (60 min.): Instructor recommended
By invitation only, these classes are an hour in length once a week.  The boys who are in this program have a solid base of their gymnastics knowledge and skill ability.  An increased focus on conditioning and flexibility is introduced, due to the increase in difficulty of skill.  Gymnasts who are in this program work all of the events at an advanced pace.  They continue to work skills such as round off backhandsprings, front handsprings, tucks, advanced swinging skills on parallel bars and high bar, increased techniques skills on pommel horse, front handsprings over the vault table, etc.
