A Note From COURTNEY, your Licensed WeeHands™ Instructor!
The Baby Signing I class is an 8-week class which runs for 45 minutes. In BS I, moms, dads, caregivers and their babies (from newborns to walking) will learn 150 American Sign Language (ASL) signs. We will be learning these signs through 15 songs, some of the old familiar songs (and introducing some new songs!), books, games, language motivating based activities and fun! Adults will be taught the strategies to be able to teach their children at home and will learn the benefits of signing, how to sign, learn through suggestions and tips, and real-life stories. Each family will receive a manual to keep.
As for me, I am a mother of 4 children. I graduated with a BS degree from U.Mass/Amherst studying ASL for 2 years while in college. We are now using ASL and speech to communicate as a family since my 4th son was born 3 years ago. He was born with many medical issues, one being that he is hard of hearing. I have been taking ASL courses at the Learning Center For The Deaf since 2005 to keep my skills sharp. I am an instructor with WeeHands offering Baby and Tot Signing classes. WeeHands, with its 80 plus instructors, has taught thousands of families ASL across Canada and the US since 2001.

Class Session:
April 7-June 14 (8 Weeks)
$160/session (includes manual, payable by cash or check)
No Classes on April 25, April 26, June 6, June 7 (not included in 8 weeks)
Available Class Times:
Baby Signing I (ages newborn to walking)
Fridays 10:25-11:10AM (45 min.)
Saturdays 9:15-10:00AM (45 min.)
Classes will be held at Flip City Gymnastics, Inc.
